Nkafu Policy Institute, the Think Tank of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation is organizing a discussion in the framework of the International Day for Democracy. Moderated by three experts in the field of democracy, the discussion would seek to equip the participants with the understanding and information on democracy related to human rights and development.
As recognized by the United Nations, the values of freedom, respect for human rights and the principle of holding periodic and genuine elections by universal suffrage are essential elements of democracy.
